Rules and Guidelines

The Rules

Players must voluntarily apply to participate in the Escape The House Game Simulation and submit a signed Release and Waiver of Liability Agreement. Players under the age of 16 years must have a parent or guardian fill out and submit a Release and Waiver of Liability Agreement.

  • Players 16 years of age or younger must have parental consent.
  • No coercive or excessive physical force should be used to participate in the Game Simulation.
  • Players must be in good health and physically able to participate in the Game Simulations.
  • Escape the room Game Simulations will be scheduled for 45 minute periods.
  • No food or Drinks are allowed in the Escape rooms
  • The recommended maximum number of players in a room is 6, however groups may decide to have up to 8 players in a room.
Warnings
  • Due to the nature of the Game Simulation activities, it is recommended that players are 10 years of age or older
  • Players will be placed in locked enclosed areas with limited lighting, restraints and other devices that may be used during captivity.
  • Players understand that the Game Simulation is not recommended for people with anxiety, medical or similar responses associated with claustrophobia or other similar disorders.
  • Escape The House is not responsible for any bodily harm or injuries incurred from participating in the Game Simulation.
  • Escape The House is not responsible for any damage or loss of personal property of players.
  • Players will not be allowed to re-enter a room if they have exited during the Game Simulation.
How To Reserve An Escape
Walk-ins are NOT accepted, please book your time slot in advanced.

  4. If you have a promo please call us to book, please do not book online!
Escape Room Etiquettes
  • Please refrain from talking about the escape room in the Escape The House facility as other customers are awaiting to go into the rooms next, and we do not want to spoil the game for them
  • Please refrain from loud talking and yelling in the Escape Facility as other players are in the rooms and it would be best for them to be able to focus in the game simultaion rather than being distracted
  • Please exit the room promptly when the time is up as other patrons are waiting their start time.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF GAME SIMULATION
  1. Once a game simulation begins no refund is available.
  2. Groups that arrive late, their 45 minute game play time will be reduced by the length of the time the group is late beginning the game simulation.
  3. Player(s) that fail to attend a reservation or fail to provide a minimum of 6 hours cancellation notice will be flagged in our booking system from booking reservations in the future. If a flagged player would like to reserve an escape room in the future, a $20.00 payment will be required at the time the reservation is made.

On rare occasions Escape The House may reserve the right to apply a $200.00 security deposit to reservations. The security deposit will be refunded as long as no damaged caused by negligence occurs and no items are taken during the game simulation.

If the game gets damaged by the players by not folowing the rules, the amount of the down-time of that particular room will be calculated and charged to the credti card on file.  Prior to the charge we will review camera footage as evidence for the liability of both parties.  This will include items taken and broken.  The Minimum charge is $200.00.

Pets and Service Animals

Due to the nature of the games absolutely no pets are allowed, due to the danger of the “unknown” elements and surprises this is for the safety of the animal as well as the players and the staff, the animal may react in an “unknown” way under unknown circumstances.

If you have a service animal and have papers that to proof it, and insist in bringing in your service animal, you are allowed entry into the lobby only.  If you choose to bring your service animal in the games with you, you need to place a $300 deposit at the front desk prior to the start of the Games, if there are no damages and mess and only then will we refund the deposit. (All deposits will take up to 14 days to refund)

Food and Drinks

Absolutely no outside foods and drinks allowed inside our facility, this includes the lobby as well!

We have beverages for purchase if you wish at our front desk.

If you choose to bring in outside food we have a right to charge a clean up fee of a minimum of a $100.00

If you choose to cater with us for a private event we will be more than happy to assist in organizing it with you and your party, this is the only circumstance that food is allowed since it is a closed door function.
